Join us for an evening with Pulitzer Prize and Emmy Award winner Mirta Ojito, alongside producer Kerry Sanders, an Emmy and duPont Award-winning journalist.

The Seattle Latino Film Festival, in partnership with

Richard Hugo House, Culture, the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, Luis Fernando Esteban, and with the collaboration of Elliott Bay Book Company, proudly presents Deeper than the Ocean and The Poor Man's Titanic, a special event that brings together literature and documentary as part of its 18th annual edition.

The program will feature a presentation of Mirta Ojito's novel Deeper than the Ocean, as well as the Northwest premiere of the short documentary The Poor Man's Titanic.
